Core - Fantasy Castle Tileset

I am so fortunate to have the opportunity and challenge to create a slew of modular building blocks for the Core platform at Manticore Games.
This set is a lot more complicated than it may seem on the surface as we have the unique ability to swap all materials on each asset without ruining the normal, AO, or mask details; all at runtime.
It's LIVE, BAYBEEE!
The scenes above where created to simply showcase and ground this modular tileset. All of the world building was basically my way to test and ensure that the set worked well for various styles of gameplay; from FPS to Isometric.

I can't express enough how fun it was to build these pieces. Any time I made a new piece,
I found myself making an entirely new castle inspired by that single object!

I had the lovely opportunity to showcase the new set of Castle parts I created for Core by building a quick little environment with them.

Here is a clip of a character walking into the castle. All pieces automatically have a reverse side attached for rapid level design.

...and here is an example of a quick scene one can make accentuating the versatility of the set. Using these pieces in unique ways, we can imitate different architecture than originally intended.
